The Nambe Pueblo Transfer Station is for Enrolled Tribal Residents to dispose of household Trash,Garbage,and Recyclables.

The Nambe Pueblo Transfer Station is open Four days a week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9am-6pm, they close for lunch from 1-2pm.

  • Recycling  Trailor /Recyclables
    Recyclables that are thrown into the Nanbe recycle trailers in plastic bags be removed from said bags and thrown in  loosely into the trailers. (Plastic Bags Cause Jams In The Conveyor Belt)
    -Shredded paper is allowed as long as it is in a clear bag.
    -No soiled cardboard please   (meaning no oils, grease, contaminates ,etc, on the cardboard).

    -Break down all boxes regardless of size.
    -No STYROFOAM

Acceptable Waste
Household garbage, green waste, recyclables, electronic waste, appliances, used motor oil. Please dispose of these items in the proper areas. The attendant will be monitoring the incoming loads thoroughly.

Unacceptable Waste
Nambe Pueblo transfer station will not accept the following: Tires, Construction Waste, Concrete slabs, Cin-der blocks, Tree trunks & stumps, Lumber, Pallets, Automotive parts, etc. These items can be disposed of at the Transfer station on Hwy 503 going toward Chimayo or at the Buckman site in Santa Fe for a small fee.
